2. The garage and hence the elevator were not available, despite the very high rental price. I know this is the owners prerogative, but having owned a comparable house at Sea Island, GA, I think renters should have access to all major house features.
Palmetto Dunes is a great location; central, excellent facilities, beautiful, excellent grocery stores nearby. No complaints. We enjoyed being near the Dunes House restaurant/bar, pickle ball courts, general store.

11 Armada is oceanfront with the ocean path beside the house that takes you out to the beach in ten seconds or less. With your gate pass you'll go through the North Gate down Mooring Buoy and will quickly be at your oceanfront home at the second right onto Armada St. This home is walking distance to The Dunes House restaurant and less than a mile to the Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center, Alexander’s Restaurant & Wine Bar and the Palmetto Dunes General Store.

Floor Plan [44]You'll love this six bedroom oceanfront home located in prestigious Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. Boasting several large windows facing the oceanfront, this home provides oceanfront views from nearly every room!
As you enter, you are first welcomed by a large foyer with travertine floors and a large wet bar which nearly doubles as a second kitchen. Just off this area is a small seating area where you can relax with drinks or tapas. Beyond this area is a second living area with a mounted HDTV that would be great for a kids entertaining area.
Down the hallway, you will find three of the five guest bedrooms. The first guest bedroom features a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with tiled tub and shower combination. The next guest bedroom has a king bed, sliding door access to the back porch and pool, its own en-suite bathroom with tiled tub and shower combination and an HDTV. At the end of the hall is the second primary suite. This large bedroom features a King bed, HDTV, sliding door access to the back patio and barbecuing area and, of course, a large en-suite bathroom. This bathroom consists of a large walk-in tiled shower, separate sunken tub and his and hers vanities. Going up just a few steps are two more guest bedrooms, one with two twin beds which can be set up as a king bed upon request. The second bedroom on this level has king over king bunk bed. Both of these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms as well. Upstairs you'll find the main kitchen, living and dining areas along with the expansive primary suite.
The formal dining area seats six and allows for beautiful ocean views while enjoying a family meal. A two-sided fireplace separates the dining area from the living room with its massive windows giving you panoramic ocean views from every seat! The gourmet kitchen features beautiful cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a breakfast nook with seating for an additional six guests. Down the hall you'll find the expansive primary suite with its king bed, HDTV, enormous walk-in closet space and private balcony with a large dining and seating areas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The en-suite primary bathroom completes this main floor with a large tiled walk-in shower, separate sunken tub and his and hers vanities.
Outside you'll have your very own private pool and spa complex. With its custom tiled pool deck you are treated to several suntanning, lounging and dining options - more than enough for the entire family! The ocean path beside the house takes you out the beach in ten seconds or less! The spa and pool can be heated (June 1 - October 1) for an additional fee.
