Only two remarks we have: 1) it would have been nice to have access to the garage (which was closed by the owner) to store our bikes and beach gear - especially when it rained and because there’s no other covered area around the house to store it.
2) The deck in the back and also the outdoor furniture need some pressure washing/deep clean ones in a while.
Other than that it was the perfect vacation, super relaxing and a lot of fun. The short bike ride to the beach is easy and beautiful. And beach access is comfortable.

2 Down Wind is located inside the North Gate of Palmetto Dunes. Upon entering the gate, you will head north on Mooring Buoy and merge left onto Sea Lane. After that take a left on Port Tack and stay left until you see Down Wind on your right. It is a quick drive to the heart of Palmetto Dunes Resort with Hilton Head Outfitters Shop, Palmetto Dunes General Store, Alexander’s Restaurant and more. Or take advantage of the free seasonal Dunes Buggy shuttle.
