Relaxing vacation

Needed a new pool net to clean pool since one there was ripped and they brought us out a new one. toilet in master bathroom the bulb didn't always fill up but we didn't let us ruin our week. Loved renting bikes, and going out in the lagoon in our kayak and fishing. Pool wonderful but it gets so buggy at night can't sit out or swim will be eaten alive. Twin bed too soft for my son but other family loved queen and king bed. Definetly would rent again

Reviewed on 2021-07-05 by , York, PA United StatesTerrific location. Very quiet, just a 5 minute bike ride to the beach, and loved that the pool was in the afternoon sun, which fit our daily routine. Beach at that access point was not crowded at all. House was definitely newly renovated, and exceeded our expectations in terms of layout.
Negatives:
1. Pool definitely has a leak. In spite of rain on a few days, needed to add water daily in order to keep the water level high enough for the filter system to work.
2. Mattresses are terrible! All box springs and mattresses should be replaced. We actually fought over who would get to sleep on the couch.
3. Sliding patio doors - very difficult to lock and unlock.
4. Landscaping and hose - wanting to wash off when coming back from the beach was challenging. There is no walkway to the hose and pool. That meant you had to walk in the dirt to the hose, then back through the dirt to the pool or to the house, which was a constant issue.

After that take a left on Port Tack and stay left until you see Down Wind on your right. It is a quick drive to the heart of Palmetto Dunes Resort with Hilton Head Outfitters Shop, Palmetto Dunes General Store, Alexander’s Restaurant and more.

The Kitchen features Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry. The Kitchen will be fully equipped with all the amenities of home. The dining area seats six.
The furniture throughout the home is new just as everything in the home is new. All bedrooms have new mattresses and HDTVs.
The Primary Bedroom features a King bed, large walk-in closet and private access to the large wooden deck that adorns the rear of the home. The en-suite Primary Bathroom features a tiled walk-in shower and granite double vanity.
The Second Guest Bedroom has a Queen Bed while the Third Guest Bedroom has Two Twins. These bedrooms share the Guest Bathroom, which has a tiled tub and shower combination along with its own granite vanity.
Just off the Kitchen is the laundry room and a Half Bath for visitors to easily access.
Outside you'll be able to take in the exquisite lagoon views from your large back deck adjacent to the larger pool area. The Pool is one of the largest on the rental market with Palmetto Dunes. The Beach is just a short bike ride away.
Pool heat is not available with this home.
No pets are allowed at this property.
